A great Yogi of Modern India Swami Ram was a Himalayan Wanderer. He not only meditated in caves and upper himalayas but his lust was to spend time with TIMELESS and SECRET yogis of the the region. In his book 'THE HIMALAYAN MASTERS' he has given a detailed account of various mystical magical yogis he met during his lifetime. Once he travelled to Tibet and went into Secret Monasteries still meditating using very ancient and secretive techniques. His guru Bengali Baba gave him permission to meet his DADA GURU or BABAJI of the Himalayas - Babaji is a word used in Sadhu language of Great Grandfather of the Gurus.

Hariakhan Baba is also known as Babaji, Maharajji, Mahamunidra, Sri Sadguru, Sri Sadashiva, Mahavtaar, Traymabak Baba. As per folklore Babaji Maharaj is said to come from Nepal, where he has a permanent place in the caves of unknown location. In Almora area of Uttarakhand he is known as Hariakhan Baba - seen between 1861 to 1924. Though his last appearance was recorded in 1952.

Often his disciples talk of GORAKHVANI - the gospels of great great Guru Sri Gorakhnath - because it is believed that in one human form he was guru of Great Gorakhnath as Guru Machendranath.

But the thrill starts once you reach Gautami Ganga river which is as clean as mirror. The very first step into the divine river sets the tone for a divine meeting with his holiness Sri Sri 1008 Sri Hariakhan baba. After enjoying some great time at the river we reach that CAVE where Hariakhan baba appeared again in 1970. Hariakhan Baba always said that I never come from a mother's womb - I JUST APPEAR thats why he is called Hariakhan Baba.

It is said that the second Hariakhan Baba who appeared from this cave in 1970 meditated in one position for 45 days without leaving his seat in a small temple on the top of Mount Kailash. But people had apprehension about the second avatar of Sri Hariakhan Baba. In 1971, he sworn in testimony and convicted the judge of the Haldwani that he was the same OLD HARIAKHAN BABA who was seen in this region between 1860-1922.

I meditated in HIS cave for sometime - I think he allowed us to stay there and did some OMKAR kriyas taught to me by Sri Bramachari Naramdashanakar Baba. But, it is equally divine that Hariakhan Baba called me to his place and I meditated from where he appeared.... No amount of words can explain that experience but it started a great journey with him..
