It was 12 midnight & I was stuck in a massive traffic jam at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. I was here to pick up a female monk - CHANDRA DAS ji. Female sadhu with a manly name - this story I will open up in the middle of the Blog but at this time she is stuck in the Jam and I had to locate her. So, I asked Tony to get down and locate her - a Fair Monk with dreadlocks and red clothes.
The international flights were there and there was a sea of humans at that time. It was hard to see faces at that moment - but Tony got the best surprise of his life. She came and said
"Siya Ram Mahatma - Toni ji Chalein (lets go)
Tony asked her how did you recognise me. She said "Hanuman ji Maharaj did the trick - there were stars on your head and I knew Tony is here".
So, we left for our guest house and reached at around 1 pm. All she wanted was a cup of coffee but never asked. But Hanuman ji knows what her sewak needs - Tony asked her "Mataji - I can prepare a good coffee". Aah, she just needed that. So while talking about her family back in Austria Tony went into he kitchen to prepare coffee for us. And during our talks she never ever showed any signs of tiredness though she was travelling for nearly 12 hours.
She hails from one of the richest areas in Austria and her family is well to do but she left the materialistic life just to do sewa to Hanuman ji. All she says is that
"My sanskar brought me here and I had connection with Hanuman ji so East and West doesn't matter - if he wants you he will bring you to his cult".
Our guest house has a BIG Neem Karoli baba picture on a wall. She was hooked to him. We left her at 1 30 pm so that she can take rest because she had to travel again in the morning to there ashram. I did not ring her up the entire night nor in the early hours. I got a call from baba Bramachari Naramadashankar telling me not to go early as she did not sleep the entire night.... I was stunned and Why Not?

It was peak summers of 2017 when baba Narmadashankar came all the way from Onkareshwar to meet me. He asked me lets go and meet another YOGI 100 kms from Delhi. So we left in the afternoon and started our journey to Jewar near Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. It was hell of a ride to reach her ashram. No road, Big Potholes even the jeep was facing problems in managing them. But we reached her ashram. She was at the gate....
"SIYA RAM MAHATMA - Padharo (come)"....this was the way she greeted us I was shocked the way she spoke hindi and humility she carried in her tone. This was a true way any sadhu or monk should greet anyone who comes. But to do this you have to have unconditional love for everyone.

We followed her to her Ashram and met her Gurudev Paramhansa baba Balak Das ji - a karma and Dharma Yogi from Ramanadi Sampradaya.
Both he and Baba Narmadashankar touched the grounds and greeted each other. This was really an eye opener how humble souls meet and greet each other without having any air for the amount of meditation and bhakti they have done for their respective dieties. They think they are humans first who have killed their egos.
I think HANUMAN ji is the biggest apostle for unconditonal sewa and love and people who follow him deeply they become just like him.
While this scene was going on Mataji Chandra Das was ready with her food and we had our plates in our hands and she had rotis in her hand - "BHOJAN PAA LO - MAHATMA" was all she had to say before we could start.
I have never seen such sewa when it comes to meeting monks or sadhus. She is one of the BEST. May be she got her training for her GURU who she met during her visit to Nepal in Annapurna circuit which is very hi in the mountains. Her Guru Baba Atma Das Tyagi Maharaj left each and everything materialistically and started living like a hermit. He gave her the name CHANDRA DAS. He was a visionary man and wanted her to be like a man with her attitude but soft heart so that people doesn't take disadvantage of her being a lady monk.

Now she stays in an ashram where there is no light - no other means of entertainment. Even getting water sometimes is a hassle but she has smiles on her face all day long. No matter thousands of people come to visit her she gives them same attention thats why people call her THE MOTHER. Coming back from Europe she brought a small harmonium for her Guru because she knew he loves singing sita ram sita ram.....
Coming back to our Guest house. In the Morning me and tony went to see her. As we opened the gates the entire Aura of the office had already changed. Chandra Das on her harmonium was singing Ramcharitmanas to Shri Neem Karoli Baba. She did not realise that we were there but she was singing with her eyes closed and soul deeply into the Bhajan.
After a while I asked her " you did not sleep". She smiled and said
"when Neem Karoli Baba wants to listen Ramayan who can sleep Mahatma - SIYA RAM".
