Biker Tony enjoying some good time in the American Cafe at Bheemtal |
Author: Kapil Kumar
Venue: Bhawali, Nainital, Uttrakhand
It was 11 pm in night when Tony's phone rang. The screen showed KARTIK CALLING......
Tony picked up the call and the Bikers immediately fetched a plan. Tony jumped out of bed and started armouring himself. Before I could intervene he said
"Today we are meeting in Delhi so relax - I will be in Barista on NH24".
Just as the small conversation ended the Beast z 900 roared out of the house - making a thunderous but not so irritating sound, the machine vanished in the dark. It's just takes 20 minutes from the house to reach the desired Barista cafe - the Bikers after days hard work sometimes meet and de-stress discussing new Highways to explore.

Bikers Gang enjoying BROTHERHOOD at NH24 |
So it was decided to hit out of the city hustle bustle and do some BOYS stuff on the highways. Coffee was being ordered in Barista - a different brand of cigarette was doing the rounds - someone asked
"it seems to be different but tasty and also quite manly - what's it called.
"Godamn Garam - is the new way of life", replied Tony
So, Cappucino & Americano coupled with Godamn Garam was bringing some STUFF to the talkings ..... No one was too hi not to understand that the Testosterones in the BODY & the petrol in the tanks were reaching a point where orgasm can only be felt when the BEAST unleashes on 200 kmph. To have this animalistic pleasure you need to RIDE out of the city.

Coffee & Biking - made for each other |
The smell of the coffee was quite visible inside the cafe - NH24 Barista... 20 people siping their coffees cold and hot both.... the bartender was also eager to see the sales going up as the Bikers were too busy in discussing the plan of action - So after two hours of discussion one thing was decided unanimously - Lets go to BHEEMTAAL and have coffee.
The sun was a bit late to rise and the birds still in their nest - the Bikers quietly moved their STEEL HORSES out of their stables with one mission to reach Bheemtaal. The meeting point was Delhi border towards Moradabad. Bikers were reaching right on time & the energy level was higher than expected. Everyone, on their super charged horses whose speed a common man can never estimate so a lot of young bikers - try to compete with them whenever they get a chance.

Kawasakis - ready to fly away |
Leaving Delhi is always a desire in the Superbikers. Hershel, Kartik, Tony and five others started their journey and their first halt was ENROUTE - a small cafe near Garg Ganga. Off course a biker welcomed them in his house - which boasted of a swimming pool & a lush green garden.

The Dreamhouse near Garg Ganga - a great place for bikers |
The bikers cooled off in the swimming pool after one hour and thirty minute ride from Delhi. The was too hot to handle with the temperature breaking all records and the Sun god showing no mercy to the planet. Bearing an unbearable heat of 45 degrees - the Biker and the riders needed something extra - may a super chilled Beer, some talks, some rest and off course timelessness.

For superbikers - their Bikes are nothingless than living things.... some call it a girlfriend, some a horse but they all do feel a PULSE - something that breaks the mechanical mould and turn into a personified personality. After a night stay in the farm house - the team left early morning for Bheemtal. The idea was to make this trip a memorable one - not just by cruising on high speed rather cruising side by side - enjoying Childhood and tasting the street food of the highway.

Ready to move to Bheemtal |
If you are a true Indian than you ought to be a tea addict. Winters or summers - LEGENDARY people do take Indian Masala tea and the riders were fast to have it - as it works as a cheapest form of energy booster. Moving ahead wherever the team could have a fresh sugarcane juice - it made it a point to stop after every 10 kms to sip their juice and fight the angry sun. With tea as the energy drink and juice to cool off - the super bikers moved towards the elephant territory near Kala Dungi in Uttrakhand. Though an elephant herd crossed the road early morning the bikers missed them by just some hours.

waiting for some wildlife near kaladungi - but good luck next time !!!! - Shobhita & Varun |
From kaladungi crossing the Elephant sanctuary the team reached Haldwani. Now, it was just a matter of time when they finally reached their dream destination the I Heart Cafe, Bheemtal. All the dust, the heat, the tiredness of the Indian roads, the mood management due to bad traffic sense just melted away as the fine Beans from Ethopia went into the brewing machine and the crushed dark melted coffee sipped inside the white cups..... though everyone had their own tastes and preferences but COFFE ruled the table.

Finding URSELF is the key to anything u do |
So it was a cup of coffee that inspired the bikers to move out of the city and make some noise on the highway. But finally the iron horse, the armoured rider melt into a mould that cannot find words to describe. The bond of friendship grows with every ride they take --- keep riding
